HOW TO COME
Two are the main options. To land at the Naxos Airport or to land at the Athens International Airport and then get a ferry to Naxos.
Find here a detailed guide of the various transportation forms, prices and timetables.
- Landing in Naxos Airport (JNX)
You can fly to Naxos Airport either with a direct flight or with a connecting flight through Athens International Airport (Athens to Naxos flight duration: 45 min.)
After landing in Naxos Airport you can take a taxi to Naxos Port / Town (3.5 km. distance / 10 min. ride / taxi fare, around 15-20 euro) or any other destination in the island.
- Landing in Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” (ATH)
Athens International Airport is located about 25 kilometers outside of Athens center.
After landing in Athens Airport you will need to reach either Rafina port or Piraeus port.
Rafina port is closer to Naxos island than Piraeus port, therefore, if you are looking for the best option on how to get to Naxos after landing in Athens Airport, the quickest way is to leave from Rafina port.
